Synopsis
TRIPLE HAPPINESS is about the lasting effects of trauma on family. It is the story of Jim, an Australian man, who is sent to Singapore during World War Two and, upon his return to Australia, is unable to continue his life from where he left it.

The film explores the resonating effects of Jim’s experience on his family across three generations, set against the backdrop of cultural divisions and unifications in 1942, 1970 and 2010.

TRIPLE HAPPINESS, the debut feature film by writer/director Aaron Wilson, is being produced by Katrina Fleming and co-produced by Mabelyn Ow and Tom Booth. Filming commenced in mid November 2009, with further filming carried out in May-June 2010. Final filming will be carried out in early 2011.
